I love fall

Hello! It’s been a while, I know, and I have no real good excuse. I’ve been a little overwhelmed with school… I have this teacher that has taken a lot of my excitement for school and flushed it down the toilet. I get frustrated, cry for a little and then ask myself, “why am I doing this?” I’m ok though. As long as I’m not giving up, I’m not failing. Yeah?

In between homework related sadness I’m still trying to crochet. I’ve made quite a few cowls lately, I can’t seem to make regular scarves. Does anyone else have this issue? It’s been a touch chilly around here so I’ve also had the opportunity to wear my cowl scarves. I love them! They’re so fun and so easy to add to an outfit. I actually even sold one! How exciting, yeah?

Anyway, here are some of the new ones I’ve made. Happy soon to be October everyone.

This is Lena. Also, this is an update of a cowl I showed you forever ago. I do love the shell stitch of this scarf, I’ve done it in another yarn since but haven’t had time to get it photographed.

This is Cheryl, in what I call autumn colors. It’s a stocking cowl, which stretches to fit around your head and then gets nice and snug around the neck. Gathers beautifully when worn.

This is Lindsay. It’s a huge, snuggely cowl. Although this picture doesn’t show it well, I was experimenting with crochet cables for this cowl.
